Butterfly Valves are typically lower cost and lighter weight than other valves. It is a quarter-turn valve like the Lined Ball Valve Sure Seal LBV Series Ball Valves allow direct actuator mounting, have a separate ball and stem design, which allows the ball to float, while maintaining low pressure sealing by using a pre-loaded seat. They have a face-to-face standard take out dimension and the primary seal between body halves is a soft joint backed up by a metal-to-metal body joint. Sure Seal’s PFA liner is locked into machined dovetails and slots in the body halves and cast holes in the ball; also, they have live loaded packing glands that are externally adjustable. Lockable handles are standard.
